Casa Matteucci (Lucca) - Casa Felice Matteucci located near Lucca in the village of Vorno is a gem of a Tuscan farmhouse with 6 bedrooms set in a stunning estate of hill-terraced olive groves and overlooking a small lake with its own little island reached by a wooden bridge. It is a home of great charm and comfort (fully heated and air-conditioned) with 6 elegant and luxuriously appointed guestrooms each with magnificent en-suite bath and shower facilities for up to 12 guests. Included in the weekly rental rate is a housekeeper who services the bedrooms and ground floor reception rooms each day (6 days per week).

Casale Sodini (Lucca) - Just 10 minutes from Lucca, in the special Valley of Vorno, is a small paradise called Casale Sodini. The 7 bedroom ancient Casale, originally used partially as a mill for the family and the few inhabitants of the village and part as a farmhouse, has been beautifully and painstakingly restored. The Casale, has no architectural pretences, is simple of lines, and the materials used in construction are those of the time; stone, hand-made bricks, timber beamed ceilings, terracotta floors, etc. The only exception to tradition has been the introduction of some modern-day creature comforts such as air-conditioning and Satellite TV.

It is surrounded by a vast agricultural estate and is located very close to Siena. Situated at 5 kms from Siena, with regular bus lines, the Villa is perfectly set for exploring the region. Basic food shops are about 700 meters from the Villa and offer the occasion for a wonderful stroll.
