2015-12-28After several years of recession and questions regarding the safety of Mexico, travelers are feeling increasingly comfortable about visiting the country. According to the U.S. State Department, the most beautiful regions in Mexico are not on the travel warning list, including states where luxury vacation rentals are located.
"Millions of U.S. citizens safely visit Mexico each year for study, tourism and business, including more than 150,000 who cross the border every day," reports the Bureau of Consular Affairs. "The Mexican government makes a considerable effort to protect U.S. citizens and other visitors to major tourist destinations."
All of the villas in Mexico are located in safe cities, including Puerto Vallarta, Cancun, Cozumel and Tulum. According to a recent report by the San Francisco Chronicle, Puerto Vallarta has revamped its beachfront location with a gorgeous pedestrian promenade decorated with sculptures and mural-covered fishing boats that make the city more welcoming for the growing number of travelers.
If you're thinking of vacationing in Mexico in the coming months, you won't have to worry about your safety, especially as tourism increases in some of the most sought-after destinations.
