The region is home to a wide variety of marine life, but if your vacation plans include a stay in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, then a trip to Dolphin Cove will put you face to face with these gentle and intelligent sea mammals.
Located across from Dunn's River Falls just outside of Ocho Rios, Dolphin Cove is a natural cove lying in the midst of more than 5 acres of tropical rainforest. This aquatic adventure park allows travelers to do everything from swimming with dolphins and stingrays to piloting their own glass-bottom kayaks on self-guided tours of the region.
The park even boasts a scenic jungle trail that will allow you to get to know more about some of the area's non-aquatic life, including exotic birds, snakes and iguanas.
Brave visitors can even get up close and personal with some of the shark species known to inhabit the area through monitored swims and feeding programs.
After a long day of deep-sea exploration, retiring to a scenic Caribbean villa will be a welcome respite where you can relax in the spacious living quarters, or keep the theme of the day by soaking in a Jacuzzi tub.
