Fitness Center: The Fitness Center at Waipouli Beach Resort is situated near the pool. With plenty of windows, guests can enjoy the views or watch programs on the flat panel TVs while using state-of-the-art exercise equipment, lifting weights, or using the balance balls or yoga mats.  Open daily (6 am to 11 pm).  Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

Dining-

Oasis on the Beach: Located in the resort.  When you come to Oasis you will be dining in a beautiful oceanfront setting with your table just steps away from the beach. Every table has an ocean view and there is also a very nice seaside walkway for a stroll before or after dinner fronting the restaurant.

Jo2 Natural Cuisine: This restaurant transforms nature’s bounty into exquisite dishes incorporating Kaua`i-grown heirloom vegetables and the freshest ingredients from the sea. With the culinary influences of Josselin’s native France, clean flavors of Japanese cooking, and ingredients inspired by Hawai`i’s multiethnic community, JO2’s succulent offerings are both creative and rooted in tradition.

Chicken in a Barrel: Surfing an ocean wave isn’t the only way to enjoy a barrel. We use a custom-made drum Barrel to cook all the featured meats. This one-of-a-kind cooking style is referred to as “Smoked Barbecue”. Brought from the foothills of California, this new spin on BBQ is the newest, phenomenal grilling wonder.

Hukilau Lanai: Featuring local Kauai products and produce, and foods made from scratch in their kitchen.

Bull Shed Restaurant: Steakhouse serving upscale surf 'n' turf in a relaxed, airy setting with ocean views.

Sleeping Giant Grill: Breezy eatery offering bowls, fish tacos & burritos in a pared-back space, plus outdoor dining.

Lava Lava Beach Club: This is a first come first seat operation.  Upon arrival see our host check in your party.  If there is a wait feel free to leave your cell phone number with our host.  It gives you the ability to take a stroll along the beach and enjoy all the games on our lawn.  We will text you when your table is ready.

Kauai Beaches-

Waipouli Beach: Nice, quiet stretch of beach located in front of the Waipouli Beach Resort.  Located on the east side of the island this beach is easy to access and great for watching the sunrise.

Polihale Beach: Located on the West Side. This beach is by far the longest stretch of beach in the state of Hawaii. Polihale Beach and State Park is located at the end of Highway 50 and is accessed down an unpaved old cane haul road. The seventeen-mile stretch of white sand beach and sand dunes offer endless beachcombing and shelling fun. Polihale Beach sits at the end of NA Pali Coast and the edge of the Mana Plains.

Wailua Beach: Located on the East side of the island.  This is the spot for surfers and kiteboarders. Located along the corridor of the coconut coast and at the mouth of the only navigable river in the State of Hawaii, this wind-swept beach often has strong surf and equally strong currents. Even though access to this beach is easy, parking is difficult, and conditions are not ideal for swimming.

Salt Pond Beach: On Kauai’s Western Shore, this beach has several protected shallow pools that offer great snorkeling for the little ones. The water is generally quite clear here and the natural fringing reefs help keep the water relatively calm. Tide pools on the East side of the beach are a great place to discover additional Hawaiian marine life. A lifeguard is posted here, and you will find restrooms, showers, and shade pavilions in the park.

Lumahai Beach: Located on the North Shore. Popular and picturesque beach and the subject of many postcard and gallery images. This long stretch of white sand beach was made famous by Hollywood when Mitzi Gaynor spent her time on this beach washing that man right out of her hair, in the movie South Pacific.

Poipu Beach: Located on the South Shore.  Poipu Beach is actually two beaches in one. A tombola (known as Nukumoi Point) separates the two bays. Tombola is a narrow sand spit that extends from shore to an island. The tombola at Poipu Beach is the favorite spot for the napping, endangered Hawaiian monk seals. The area on the western side of the beach is a favorite for beginning body boarders. Small waves break gently on the shallow sandbar and create a fun area for children to play in.

Golf-

Princeville Makai Golf Club: With our immaculate course conditions and six ocean front holes, and amazing "Aloha Spirit" it is impossible for any other golf course on the Hawaiian Islands to rival Princeville Makai's true Hawaiian Golf Adventure! In addition to golf, Princeville Makai Golf Club is also home to Sunset Golf Cart Tours, the Mauka Disc Golf Course, Sunrise Yoga, a popular Tennis facility, and many jaw-dropping sites for banquets and special celebrations.

Poipu Bay Golf Course: This outstanding course is backed by lush emerald mountains and sculpted from a rolling plateau eight stories above the Pacific Ocean. Nestled among the gentle contours of Poipu Bay you’ll discover the remains of Hawaiian heiau (places of worship) and ancient stone walls. If this didn’t challenge you enough, Mother Nature presents you with one distraction after another. From rare Hawaiian monk seals, green sea turtles, and humpback whales, you’ll have lots of wild excuses to back your scorecard. Plus, Poipu Bay is home to Nene Geese which are endemic to Hawaii, and not encountered anywhere else in the world outside of their native environment.

Kukuiolono Park & Golf Course: The park was once the site of an ancient Hawaiian Heiau and more recently the estate of the late Walter McBryde.  The park offers extensive walking paths and gardens with breathtaking mountain and ocean views. The challenging 9-hole golf course is popular with the locals for its beauty and the most inexpensive greens fees on the island.

Shopping-

Kapaa Town:  Waipouli Beach Resort Kauai by Outrigger is perfectly situated in the island community of Kapaa. The surrounding neighborhood is filled with eclectic shops offering great souvenirs, a wide variety of restaurants, and water sports rentals to go water skiing or kayaking.

Waipoulli Town Center: Located in the heart of Kapaa directly across from the Waipouli Beach Resort. The center is adjacent to McDonald's and clearly visible off Kuhio Highway, the main artery through Kapaa, connecting Lihue with Princeville, Hanalei, and the Napali Coast areas. The center provides a one-stop shopping experience for residents as well as visitors.

Coconut Marketplace: Located along the eastern shore of Kauaʻi near Kapaʻa’s Coconut Coast, Coconut Marketplace is a charming dining and shopping destination with several new stores and eateries. The newly remodeled center provides a unique, open-air market experience.

The Shoppes at Kukui’ula: Nestled on the sunny South Shore of Kaua‘i in the heart of Poipu, The Shops at Kukui‘ula is the island’s premier shopping and dining destination. Showcasing architecture that pays homage to Hawaii’s plantation past, the center is home to dozens of unique shops and boutiques, award-winning restaurants, and contemporary art galleries.

Poipu Shopping Village: A lovely garden setting in the heart of Poipu, we have everything you’re looking for.  Award-winning restaurants, unique, eclectic shops, art, and boutiques, and a free, authentic Hula show with Live Hawaiian Music every Monday and Thursday afternoon.
