Bottino

Overview

It is located between Lucca and the Versilia coast in an ideal position to sightseeing Tuscany as it is easy to organize day trips to the major Tuscan cities of art and attractions.

The present owners restored Bottino, under the supervision of the Italian Historic Buildings Administration, in total respect to the materials of the area while thinking at the comforts needed by travelers during their holiday. Every bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom and all beds can be prepared either as double or as twin beds (please warn in advance of your request).

As the property is made of two separate buildings - the main house sleeping six guests and the barn sleeping four guests, it is perfect for two groups/families looking to spend their holiday together while retaining their independence. Furthermore, each house has its own kitchen and sitting room.

The same attention to detail has been given when furnishing the well-kept terraced garden, surrounded by olive groves. The exterior has been furnished with several places to sit outside as well as with two large tables for al-fresco dining (one in front of the swimming pool and one in front of the main house).

One of the property highlights is the grey color swimming pool in front of the house which blends perfectly with the Tuscan countryside. Furthermore there are a bocce (bowls) court and a table tennis available to guests.  On request, the swimming pool can be fenced for families travelling with children.

Close to both the Apennines and the Apuan Alps, this setting is also excellent for hikers and people who like to walk. Furthermore, walking distant there is an equestrian center for children how could like to go horse riding. Cooking lessons are available upon request.
