The airport has expanded its offerings thanks to the opening of its new terminal last week after months of delays. Speaking to the Tico Times, Adriana Echandi, the Britt Shop Director for Costa Rica and the Caribbean, claims that the opening was a grand success, winning over travelers with its luxurious amenities.

"The terminal is fully operational and the passengers are impressed by the quality of the installations," said Echandi. "Our stores are open and we believe that we now have the conditions for a good customer service and to increase our sales volume."

Once guests have arrived, they can continue their luxurious adventure at a nearby vacation villa rental, which will offer a number of creature comforts that are sure to please high-end travelers.
